Public Works Regulations for Leaf Collection

  1. Leaf collection is twice a week: every Monday and Tuesday.
  2. Leaves must be raked to curbside in neat piles. NO PLASTIC BAGS!
  3. Leaves must be clean (free of twigs and trash).
  4. Leaves must be placed at the curbside the night before or by 6:00 AM. the day of collection.
Spring Leaf Collection March 15 to April 30
Fall Leaf Collection November 1 to December 20
Leaves with not be collected at any other times except for emergencies.

We recommend that you start a compost pile using your yard refuse. Information can be obtained from the Recycling Coordinator, at 861-2371. This allows you to save money because you will have your own soil conditioner.
