Trash pickup is handled by Coggins Waste Management, Ocean City, NJ 609-399-2981. Inquiries should be directed to them.

Regulations for Trash and Recycling Collection
- All trash and recycling must be placed curbside.
- All trash must be in sealed or tied plastic bags. In plastic or metal containers with lids and exterior handles.
- Recycling containers must be labeled.
- No trash will be collected in cardboard boxes.
- No trash or recycling containers over 50 pounds will be collected.
- No 55-gallon drums or construction material will be collected.
- Trash must be placed at the curb by 6:00 A.M.
- Residents are to put out their trash and recycling no earlier than the night before collection.
- All businesses will have to seek their own trash removal (with exception to those excluded by Borough Ordinance.)
Recycling must be Handled in the Following Manner

food and beverage, bottles and jars. |
| HOUSEHOLD PLASTIC CONTINERS: |
food, beverage, soap, detergent, health and beauty aid containers. AUTOMOTIVE FLUID CONTAINERS ARE NOT INCLUDED. |
| ALUMINUM AND STEEL-PLATED CANS: |
fruit, vegetable, fish and pet food cans, bi-metal including non-aluminum beverage cans. |
| ALL CLEAN MIXED PAPER PRODUCTS: |
junk mail, newspaper, magazines, and cardboard boxes, both corrugated and non-corrugated. NO PAPERTOWELS, TISSUES, OR OTHER CONTAMINATED PAPER PRODUCTS. |
How to Recycle
Rinsed glass, plastic, and metal containers are to be placed in the same reusable container (plastic or metal container). No plastic or paper bags. Mixed paper products should be placed in paper bags, or cross-tied and bundled. No plastic bags!
